For those of you who are new to our ranks and such, Welcome! We're a mostly casual raiding guild based on the idea its better to have fun with how you raid then to get really far by putting up with assholes. First off
Use This Site! the Asylum
forums are full of useful info, humor, and strange stories from a land called
Wisconsin. Take a look at the
Raid Requirements as a target of where you should be shooting for gear wise. Note these is not required to signup and get invites to Karazhan and such, but the bottom line is if we don't have enough people who surpass these, raids become vastly harder to complete. Also Aresia and his roomies have put together this set of
Recommended Raiding Specs as a resource, not a requirement, just some helpful stuff about how to get the most out of your spec for PvE and Raiding in general. Consumables and other stuff is available from the
Guild Bank What goes into making this stuff and guild bank prices can be found
here. Money in the bank is used to purchase more consumables and other resources to help the guild as a whole. Donations always welcome.
Otherwise if you can't access the forums send an in game mail to Kaed, Kylarina and/or Elkidogz to try and sort out your access.
Raid invites start at 5pm Server, first pull is 5:30pm Server. If your signed up but your not available when invites start your spot may be given out to someone elseInvites are given out in the following priority- Class Mix (ie do we have the right classes to down that night's bosses)
- Signup time (ie who signed up first for a particular role)
- NOTE: If we're facing stuff thats likely to be difficult we may bump undergeared people in favor of really geared people in order to get the job done. Refer to the Raid Requirements for what your target should be on stuff.
Do not signup for a raid if you don't think you can show up (try to retract your signup if plans change). Once in a while is ok, Repeat offenders will have to be dealt with.Any Class Captain or Officer can pull consumables out of the bank for raids, try and do so before invites start if possible. For those of you old timers, we know the Raid calender has been a bit screwy and changing a lot lately, going back. Most of this has been due to a debate thats been sporadically ongoing in the CC & Officer forums since the holidays regarding progression and where we go from here.
Primarily we're gonna be pursuing doing 2 Karazhan raids every week with a Gruul's Lair run every Friday. Gruul's run is the tricky part for raid progression here to that means High King Maulgar read up on Stategy and watch the Video. Many of you may notice Zul'Aman isn't on the schedule much anymore. ZA is intended to be a challenge for guilds who are getting signifgantly far in 25 man raids and frankly we aren't there yet. Yes we can down the bear boss, but beyond that we've been getting our asses kicked. So until we've gotten a bit farther with 25 man content and actually stand a chance of doing well in a ZA run, we're not going to have any on the schedule (As always People are welcome to put together adhock ZA runs if theres an interest).
Otherwise we're gonna be putting together an optional phonelist type thing so raid leaders can call people who want to make themselves available to be contacted if we need one more dps, healer, tank or whatever we have a couple of slots to fill etc. Entirely voluntary and info will be kept private to the CC's and Officers. More to come on this...
And since no one pays attention to a post without a picture we have Kaed and Jana at a young age....

Anyway thats the long and the short of it. Otherwise keep up the good work in the nuthouse...
